Can you guess? Yes! It is the ELRETRON PENNA Retro Bluetooth Keyboard.

This keyboard is a Bluetooth keyboard as the name suggests. Unlike most Bluetooth keyboards, it supports the three main operating systems;  iOS, Android, and Windows.

Although this product is still a prototype, with the positive feedback they have been receiving the retro style keyboard may be on the market as early as August of this year. The Penna comes with five different colors. However, customers would have the option to customize their keyboard to their preference, be it adding the conventional set of square keys for accurate typing or the fascinating chrome-edged keys to enhance the look of the keyboard. Customers can also choose whether they would like a soft, medium or hard key sensitivity.

As we can see in the picture above, the Penna has an integrated smartphone/tablet stand which allows the device to stand upright for increased comfort and user experience. There is also a Macro bar on the side of the keyboard which lets you knock out commonly used words and phrases by quickly pressing the bar. The keyboard uses a few AA-sized batteries and can be powered for up to six months.

The ELRETRON PENNA Retro Bluetooth Keyboard can be yours for just $99.00 USD.

  1. Nice blog Toni. I think a device like this one can actually be quite useful, even though one would not be at a significant disadvantage without it. I suppose what especially distinguishes it from other Bluetooth keyboards is the fact that it supports the three main operating systems. My concern, however, is if people will be willing to spend US$99 on something they can have (without the Bluetooth feature) for less than half the cost of this device, without significant deprivation.

  2. Great blog! The whole concept of wireless keyboards is absolutely amazing and can be very useful at time; But, the Electron Penna Retro, when compared to some of todays wireless keyboards seem rather ancient.
