VUE

Image
SMART GLASSES! Vue, the most normal-looking smartglasses.  Meet Vue, the world's first pair of smart glasses designed for everyday use. They are offered in prescription, unprescribed and even sunglasses. You can spot most smart glasses from a mile away. However, Vue is very stylish with a sleek everyday look. These smart glasses may not be as smart as Google Glass. However, there are still many features hidden in this neat frame. From listening and controlling your music with gesture control to tracking your daily steps and even making calls. The Vue does not have a display screen, therefore, it uses voice command. Instead of using earbuds, the Vue uses bone conduction technology to send sound waves to the skull to enable you to hear. This would make you more aware of your surroundings since nothing is blocking your ears.  The starting price of a Vue is just under 200 US Dollars. It is set to make its debut in July 2017.

A Bed That Makes Itself!!!

Image
Yes! A bed that makes itself. Personally, I HATE making my bed. Thank God for technology and most of all, thank God for the SmartDuvet.  One of the best things about this technology is that a new bed isn't necessary. Your existing bed can be turned into a Dual-Zone Climate-Controlled Self-Making Bed by just purchasing the Smart Duvet. The first shipment is expected in Summer 2017. Even if you forgot to make your bed you could access the SmartDuvet App on your smartphone while you're at work or school to request that your bed be made. Many may say that this technology would make us lazier but please remember that technology is meant to make everything easier for us. The SmartDuvet helps us save time and energy.  A simple inflatable sheet is placed between the duvet and its cover. This layer is really light. This layer and the SmartDuvet box allows the bed to be made. When the duvet is activated it inflates the sheet's air chamber which places the duve

Let's not forget that this device also offers you the option of wirelessly charging your phone or should I say phones? The EYE has another advantage, the Android 7.1 Nougat. Unlike most Bluetooth keyboards, it supports the three main operating systems;  iOS, Android, and Windows.  Although this product is still a prototype, with the positive feedback they have been receiving the retro style keyboard may be on the market as early as August of this year. SAMSUNG Family Hub Fridge

Image
Today, I stumbled upon this incredible everyday home appliance, a fridge. However, this fridge is like no other! The "Family Hub" as it's called, is a new refrigerator with a WiFi-enabled touchscreen feature.  This feature allows you to manage your groceries, entertain and also connect with family. Do you have a nasty habit of opening your fridge without reason? Or do you always forget to make a grocery list when going to the supermarket? Well, SAMSUNG may have answered your prayer. The Family Hub has cameras inside the fridge, this now makes the excuse of opening the fridge to "see what's in it" obsolete. An app also allows you to look inside your fridge while you're at the supermarket. Apart from the use of its camera, Samsung's new fridge allows the owner to watch movies, look at recipes while cooking or baking, set and send notes and reminders to each family member and even display their favorite family memories. Why Is Mark Zuckerberg Copying Evan Spiegel's Every Move?

Image
Mark Zuckerberg, Co-founder of Facebook and CEO of Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram seems to have been copying Evan Spiegel, the Co-founder, and CEO of Snap Inc. (Snapchat) of late. Zuckerberg is trying to stifle Snapchat after Spiegel turned down his $3 billion offer to buy the company. He is now turning all his apps into copies of Snapchat. From Snapchat's filters, stories, 10-second snap sharing and more.   The truth is, many users like myself, are becoming annoyed. Thinking about it, who would want to have "five Snapchat apps" installed on their phone?  Everyone wants to know why Mark is trying his best to get rid of the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. Is it because he was still at millionaire status at Evan's current age? We don't know, but very soon we may find out.  Share your comments on this current issue below!

JARVIS

Image
During the latter days of December 2016 Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and Co-Founder of Facebook unveiled his Personal Assistant, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) program called Jarvis. Jarvis was built by Mark to assist his household with their day-to-day activities. From controlling lighting, temperature adjustment, scheduling, entertainment, preparing breakfast and even getting Mark ready for his appointments. Jarvis can do it all! In one of the videos, Mark's wife Pricilla mentioned that in the beginning, one of the flaws of the system was that it could only identify and respond to Mark's voice. However, that problem was sorted out and Jarvis can now respond to their entire household. The video below demonstrates the abilities of Jarvis. This amazing program is an example of the "Internet of Things". It shows us how technology can make our lives easier. Jarvis can also recognize people at the door using face recognition. The program is controlled by voice and text
